Critterfront blends an auto battler's recruiting, merging, and team synergies with tower defense positioning. Each creature you deploy becomes both a defender on your board and a marcher on a rival's. Battles play out automatically; your decisions between rounds make the difference.
The solo browser alpha on this page is free to play, and no account is required. Choose a display name in the game, then select Play with Bots.
Play with Bots gives you a solo match against three bots. Public online matchmaking, private rooms, and ranked play are not available yet. The alpha menu may still show a Play Online option; choose Play with Bots to play this release.
The battlefield collection is a preview of 25 cosmetic designs. Purchases and account sign-in are not available on the website, and the current browser alpha does not display these skins.
Buy creatures from the shop, then drag them into your defense and offense formations. Matching creatures merge into stronger forms. Press Ready when your formation is set. Stop enemy marchers reaching your Nexus while yours challenge a rival. The last surviving Nexus wins.
The website works on small screens, but the game is designed for a desktop browser with WebGL 2 and a mouse. Touch controls aren't validated yet. For the clearest board and controls, use a desktop or laptop and select Fullscreen.
This is a playable alpha, so visuals, creatures, and balance are still evolving. The game may display its development title, Autochess TD. The colorful garden illustrations are cinematic concepts; the embedded game shows the playable build.
